PUFF PETTAL'S STORY

I started crocheting for fun in 2021, just random projects around the house and clothing items. In 2022 I adopted my two fur babies. When they were kittens they were monsters and would eat all of my indoor plants. The plants all died off and I didn't want to fill my house with a bunch of plastic plants. To instill cozy vibes back into my home I decided to crochet some bouquets for around the house. When I had visitors, they often complimented my homemade décor so I decided to launch Puff Pettal. It then developed to what it is today. I studied interior design as I love home decorating, so I wanted to take Puff Pettal in a home décor path alongside other items I enjoy making such as accessories.

When choosing a name for my brand. I decided upon "Puff Pettal".

Puff is a stitch in crochet and the word also reminds me of soft and fluffy cloud - portraying soft wool which my items are made out of.

Petal for bouquets which is what I started off with. I played around with the spelling as a play on my last name "Petterson" with two t's. I thought this added a unique flair and the two P's for Puff Pettal sound good together as well as having two f's and two t's is visually appealing.

Hi I'm Elfee. I independently own and run Puff Pettal & Pettal Design.

I studied interior design & graphic design as I couldn't decide what path I wanted to go down. I have always been very creative and I love making things. Now, I get to fulfil my dream of all of my passions. Creating home décor items with freelance graphic design alongside.
